An experienced graphic and industrial designer, with a demonstrated history of working on branding projects, Mai began her career after receiving both her Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art & Design and Communication Design Essentials Certificate from BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology). Since then she has balanced freelance graphic design work with various in-house design positions, including senior designer at a luxury textiles company and senior graphic designer at a branding and marketing agency.

Through her extensive design experience, Mai has perfected her skills in both conceptualizing and developing visuals based on her clients' requirements and visions. Mai is a collaborative designer who engages with her clients to deliver designs that are cohesive, detail-oriented and creative. She is revered for her eye for detail, as well as the ability to work methodically and meet tight deadlines while balancing multiple projects simultaneously. Mai is currently working at Threshold Agency.
